The Photography

Backing onto Rouge Valley, this modern build by ATA Architects stands out in this Scarborough Residence.

Walking in through the foyer, you are overcome by feelings of weightlessness, due to the bright and airy feel of the white walls coupled with the light wood floor to ceiling cabinetry.

CLEAN. MODERN. DESIGN.

A view of the living space from the foyer.

The majority of the exterior views showcase the surrounding greenery, which makes perfect sense considering this home backs onto Canada’s largest urban park.

One of my favourite things about this property is it’s use of modern pillars that clearly differentiate each space from the other while still maintaining an open concept feeling.

A one point perspective from in between the two kitchen islands to the backyard doors. Looking through the backyard door windows you get a great view of all the greenery.

Cause why not?

The living room.

According to the Realtor a family of deers frequent the area just beyond your backyard fence which makes for a beautiful moment in time for those who are lucky enough to see it.

Master Bedroom.

The master ensuite. This room is divided into two sections by one large pillar. On one side of the room there's a couch facing the tv and the fire place and on the other side of the room is the bed.

Once again, the architects use of pillars really helps create a distinct separation between the two sides of the space without compromising the open floor vibe.
