Instagram has become a really big place over the last few years and navigating your way through the junk can be a very time consuming process. To help you out I have taken the time to compile a list of what I believe to be some of the best Instagram accounts for architecture and interior design.
The criteria?
- Quality – It was very important to me to feature pages that post high quality content. There are a lot of accounts out there that accept money and re-post low quality, amateur photos. I’ve done my best to avoid such pages.
- Credibility – I tried not to put too much weight on credibility but it definitely played a part in my final list. If you lack a decent following, or more importantly interaction, that account probably didn’t make the list.
Without further ado, in no particular order…
1. Architectural Digest
Architectural Digest is an industry staple but what I particularly like about this page is that it has great variety of content that is tailored to people who not only love architecture but for people who have great taste in general.
2. The Design Chaser
If you’re looking for grand architectural exteriors this page is probably not for you. Founded by Michelle Halford, The Design Chasers Instagram page is all about the details. Simplicity in colour schemes and organization with style is where this page really shines.

3. ArchiDesignHome
If you are looking for grand architectural exteriors this page is DEFINITELY for you. They do promote a few products here and there but asides from that the content is always great.
4. C E R E A L
CEREAL is a magazine that focuses on travel, people and products. They only publish twice a year and their city guides provide users with a unique, curated experience.

5. The Model Interiors
At The Model Interiors Instagram page you can expect a solid selection of modern interiors with no shameless promotions (that I can see).
Honourable Mention – Architecture – Daily Sketches
All great ideas start in the same place. The brain. The next step is to put your ideas to paper and that’s what makes this page so unique in that it only features the best architectural sketches.
